Strategic Engagement in Benin Republic - Working visit to Nigeria House
During the retreat, members of the Chamber undertook a strategic visit to the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, on the 3rd of March 2026, where discussions centered on strengthening diplomatic collaboration, improving cross-border trade facilitation, and aligning the Chamber’s initiatives with Nigeria’s economic diplomacy objectives.
The Chamber reaffirmed its readiness to work closely with diplomatic missions, government agencies, and border management authorities to promote seamless trade and economic cooperation along the Nigeria–Benin corridor.
Looking Ahead
The Nigeria–Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry is positioned to become a key platform for trade promotion, investment facilitation, and private sector dialogue between both countries.
The Chamber will continue to work with stakeholders across government, industry, and regional institutions to unlock the enormous economic potential that exists between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
