Working Visit of the Nigeria–Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin
The Nigeria–Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NBCCI) is a bilateral business membership organization established to promote trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Benin. The Chamber serves as a structured platform for businesses, institutions, and investors seeking credible partnerships and practical support for cross-border commercial activities. NBCCI was created to strengthen the Nigeria–Benin trade corridor by bringing together private sector leaders, policymakers, border stakeholders, and development partners to address barriers to trade and unlock new opportunities for growth. Through coordinated advocacy, business facilitation, and institutional partnerships, the Chamber works to improve the ease, transparency, and efficiency of doing business across both countries. The Chamber provides services in trade facilitation, market entry advisory, business matchmaking, policy advocacy, and capacity building. It also organizes trade missions, investment forums, and stakeholder engagements designed to connect enterprises, expand market access, and encourage responsible private sector participation in regional integration. With a governance structure driven by its Board and supported by a professional Secretariat, NBCCI operates on principles of transparency, collaboration, and mutual economic benefit. Its long-term objective is to become the leading bilateral chamber platform for Nigeria–Benin commerce and a recognized voice for cross-border business development in West Africa. NBCCI is committed to building trust, enabling opportunity, and advancing shared prosperity between both nations.
