NB-CCI Leadership Visits Rolling Grazing Limited

As part of its programme of strengthening institutional relationships with its Founding Members and promoting strategic private sector enterprises, the President of the Nigeria–Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Fatai Adegboyega Shokunbi, led a high-level delegation on 15th May 2026 on a facility tour and courtesy visit to the headquarters of Rolling Grazing Limited.

The delegation comprised:

  • Alhaji Fatai Adegboyega Shokunbi – President
  • Mr. Emmanuel Essien – Director-General
  • Amb. Nicky Maxwell – Deputy President, Business Development and Partnership

During the visit, the delegation was taken on an extensive tour of the bonded terminal facilities and gained first-hand insight into the company's operational capabilities, customs processes, cargo handling systems, warehousing infrastructure, and logistics operations.

The visit also provided an opportunity for strategic discussions on strengthening collaboration between the Chamber and Rolling Grazing Limited in advancing trade facilitation, promoting investment, supporting importers and exporters, and improving logistics efficiency along the Nigeria–Benin trade corridor.

The Director-General of the Chamber, Mr. Emmanuel Essien, also presented a comprehensive update on the Chamber's ongoing activities, institutional development, and digital transformation initiatives. He announced that the Chamber's fully automated digital platform was ready for deployment, providing seamless online services including membership registration, subscription management, certification, business verification, and digital engagement for members and stakeholders.

Discussions further explored collaborative opportunities with border management agencies, including the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and other strategic institutions, as well as initiatives to strengthen partnerships with the Kebbi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in promoting structured cross-border trade and investment.

Driving Regional Trade Integration

The Nigeria–Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognizes that efficient logistics infrastructure is fundamental to regional competitiveness. Companies such as Rolling Grazing Limited play an indispensable role in supporting the implementation of the ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme (ETLS), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and broader regional integration objectives by facilitating the secure and efficient movement of goods across borders.

The Chamber therefore commends the vision and leadership of DCG Mohammed Bello Jibo (Rtd.) in establishing an enterprise that exemplifies professionalism, operational excellence, and commitment to national and regional economic development.

As NB-CCI continues to champion policies and partnerships that enhance trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin, it remains committed to working with strategic institutions such as Rolling Grazing Limited in building an integrated logistics ecosystem that supports sustainable economic growth across West Africa.
