NACCIMA PRESIDENT COMMENDS NB-CCI’S PROGRESS AND STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
The President of the Nigeria–Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NB-CCI), Alhaji Fatai Adegboyega Shokunbi, recently held a strategic meeting with the President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, FNSE, FAEng., mni, OON.
The NB-CCI President was accompanied by the Director-General of the Chamber, Mr. Emmanuel Essien; the Deputy President, Business Development and Partnership, Ambassador Nicky Maxwell; and the Deputy President, Policy, Research and Advocacy, Ms. Olubukola M. Angelo .
The meeting provided an important opportunity to brief the NACCIMA President on the progress, activities and strategic initiatives of the Nigeria–Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, particularly its efforts to promote bilateral trade, investment, private-sector development and economic cooperation between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
During the engagement, the NACCIMA President commended the progress and strategic initiatives of the NB-CCI , acknowledging the efforts of the Chamber towards establishing a strong platform for Nigeria–Benin economic cooperation.
Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim also expressed the willingness of NACCIMA to work closely with the NB-CCI in supporting the achievement of the Chamber’s objectives and advancing initiatives that promote trade, investment and private-sector collaboration.
The engagement further underscored the importance of collaboration within the organised private sector and the critical role of Chambers of Commerce in facilitating business relationships, investment opportunities and sustainable economic development.
The NB-CCI remains committed to working with NACCIMA and other strategic stakeholders to strengthen its programmes and initiatives, including efforts aimed at improving cross-border trade, deepening business integration and unlocking new investment opportunities between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
The Chamber believes that stronger institutional collaboration will contribute significantly to the advancement of its vision of building a vibrant platform for trade, investment, partnership and regional integration .
